As the number of people who use their smartphones and tablets increases, having a mobile-friendly website can be very beneficial. We are here to offer you high quality mobile conversion using different technologies.

Before we engage into the project, the client must be ready to assign a project manager who can continuously monitor, review, make fast decisions, and provide us some needed information during the whole design and development process. The project manager plays a crucial role in achieving the desired results on time.

Pre-requisites

Before we engage into the project, it is advisable that the client knows about the technical history / background of the current website. If not, must be able to endorse to us the technical manager or the project manager who handled the website. He/she must be able to relay to us the ff:

  1. Current website URL / address
  2. A Sitemap. So we can determine the scope and complexity of the conversion.
  3. Build specifications (programming language used, CMS (platforms / frameworks), or any other tools / technologies used in building the current website.
  4. Must be able to turn-over to us the source code / database or be able to provide us an access to the web host so we can get a copy and make some tweaks.
  5. It is also advisable for the client to assign a project manager who can continuously monitor, review, make fast decisions, and provide us some needed information during the whole design and development process. The project manager plays a crucial role in achieving the desired results on time.
Gathering your “wishlist”

The engagement process starts by determining your requirements, your goals, and targets. We may also ask you for some references or “pegs” which will help us determine clearly what you are planning to achieve in terms of design and user experience. This process is known as requirements gathering where we list down your “wishlist” for the project so we can come up with good estimates (cost and timeline) and to determine your expectations.

Mock-ups.

We begin by designing mockups of the home page and a few important sections of the website. Our goal is not to completely overhaul the look and feel, but instead, we will align the design of the mobile website to your from the desktop version so as to maintain a uniform experience between the two. We will come up with a study that may include several layout variations so as to give you a better picture of the design mockup. This may take 2 to 3 revisions until we finally agree and decide on a final art. This is our first step before we begin the actual development.

Theme development and customization.

Then we begin developing the mobile theme. If you already have your own web hosting facility, we can immediately set up a copy of the website (known as staging environment) or we can guide your administrator in setting it up. The staging environment is normally where other users check and test your website. If you don't have a web host yet, we recommend choosing one at this point as it may also cause delays in rolling out your project.

Checking of deliverables.

After all requests on your “wishlist” have been accomplished, we’ll turn over to you the theme and help set it up on your website. .
